Understanding the Rating System
Each Ping golf ball color combination is assigned a rarity rating from 1 to 10. A rating of 1 indicates the most common balls that are readily available, while a rating of 10 represents the rarest and most sought-after combinations. Values shown are approximate market prices for balls in mint or near-mint condition.
Several factors influence the value of a Ping golf ball beyond its color combination: condition (mint, near-mint, used), markings and logos, ball type (Eye, Eye2, Zing, etc.), and whether the ball has its original packaging. Two-color combinations are generally more valuable than single-color-and-white combinations. Prototype and specialty balls command the highest premiums.
